Had gluten over Christmas (24-29th) no bread, just some cake and cookies, mostly spelt flour. Going back to a gluten free diet as I've noticed the more carbs eaten the more cravings I have.

Been gluten free since Nov. 21st. Will weigh in on Dec 11th and then again the 20th to see how much I've lost. Been eating buckwheat, nuts, flax and quinoa pancakes instead of bread. Fruit and nut butter etc instead.
I exercise only twice a week, and chocolate with nuts is my nemesis.

Got an old school step counter on Feb 5th.
Here's my diet and exercise update:
Been walking 45 mins a day (3-4 km)
More protein, less sugar
I did the low carb from March until April (6-8 weeks) and while its extreme and not sustainable to be on keto, I've learnt the following:
*Consistent exercise is key! Even if it's just walking or getting some fresh air once a day.
*Sugar free coffee with lactose reduced cream (fat) doesn't break a fast. I aim to eat a late breakfast, between 9-10 most days even if I start work early.
*Eat protein in your main meal once a day (at least) every day. This reduces the need for snacking.
*Eat less fruit and juices, I water down my cranberry juice or have lemons with sparkling water.
*Drink green tea and eat nuts as a snack

From this week onward I am removing all dairy from my diet. I will still have eggs and butter, but no more dairy / milky produce.
