i had a total awful emotional day yesterday. my best friend had a heart transplant and her body has been rejecting it and is damaged from the rejection.
could you please keep her in your prayers: she just msg'd me: "Update on my health: we are at the point where the doctors have done everything they can do right now my heart was damaged from the rejection and still weak which is also affecting my kidneys. I will be going home today or tomorrow but I will be going home on constant IV medication( Dobutamine) to allow my heart to pump better and I could be on this medication for weeks, months or even years just a lot unknowns. So I will be going home once all my home care is set up. So not the news we were expecting but we are taking it one day at a time. Please pray God just heals my heart we know HE is capable of that. I am technically considered under palliative care ( end of life care) thank you God Bless". she's only 29 yrs old.
she was born with heart defects and has been in and out of hospitals our entire life. she had a pacemaker most of her teen years. i remember almost living in st luke's with her when she was getting that pacemaker and praying not to lose her. and it was a risk cuz she's weak and also has osteoporosis in her spine. she's just always been really physically frail with her health
