Even if you just show "trace" ketones, you are still in ketosis. A dark color is more of an indicator of dehydration than "better" or "more" ketosis. Try liquid "non-bitter" stevia as a sweetener in your tea. It is an herb that has no calories and a little goes a long way. Check it out at the health food store, but stay away from SteviaPlus because the fiber supplement they add to it gives people some problems.
