Today is my one year anniversary of maintaining my goal weight of 125 lbs! I'm happy that I'm actually a couple pounds below my goal as I love having a 'buffer' for weeks when I slip up a bit.

I have maintained a 70 lb. weight loss for a year. I have never lost that much weight in my life and I have never maintained weight that I have lost in the past. This is huge for me. I wish I had figured things out when I was younger and really regret that my mom isn't with me to enjoy this achievement. She tried so hard to help me when I was a chubby kid and obese teenager & adult.

Shopping is fun! Even my feet are smaller (LOL)! My mom would laugh about that!!!

For anyone struggling and becoming frustrated please keep trying. If I can do it, anyone can do it. My love affair with food continues but, for now, it is a healthy relationship. I will head into my 2nd year of maintenance 'cautiously optimistic' that I can continue to succeed.
