Welcome. I just read a quote: "Patience is not the ability to wait, but how you act while you're waiting. Sounds good but I'm not sure it's 100% true. I thought it is the ability to wait. How we act is sure going to determine the results we get. You have made a good step joining Fatsecret. You will learn and grow but it takes time to enter your numbers each day. I read about one man that didn't really lose till he started communicating with others here. I read the Journals of others to keep myself focused. YouTube has great videos: Dr Berg, Dr. Jason Fung and others. I just watched a video called "Butter Makes Your Pants Fall Off." He's good, but my husband hated him because my husband does not want to hear the truth. We have made a lot of mistakes, let's forgive ourselves, and try to learn how we can do and be better. It can be done, but we have to be willing to make changes. Yes, you will have to give up many things. But you will get to have: more strength, more energy, be trimmer, feel better, look better, and so many other things. It's worth it. The alternative is downhill. It's our choice, isn't it. I commend you for starting. Gird up your loins and move forward.
