Not a great time in my life -- My motto for now is: "I do what I can when I can." Husband's dementia and the glitches and stress it causes can really get me down. Weight has been up for a while but it IS holding steady. Good enough for now. And I really don't wear a swimsuit except in our retirement center pool, where my body holds up pretty well in comparison. . .considering that the average age here is 84!

Sometimes, "all we can do" is MORE than enough! I can't imagine having to endure your trials. In the big scheme of things, how you look in a bathing suit is probably not the highest thing on your priority list right now. May God be with you and uphold you during your trials, and may you be happy and healthy along the way!

Dementia is so hard on the families. Just do what you can and don't feel guilty, feel great about what did manage to accomplish every day. I've had to learn that this past year with some issues different from your. I started writing down what I did get done on pad on my frig. Turned out I was getting more accomplished than I thought most days.

My sister and I took care of an aunt with demensia. It is such a hard time and the only thing you can do is the best you are able.
