Today was a long awaited day. My 1st A1c after seeing a Dietitian. I have been beyond ecstatic to say the least. I was hoping for at least a 6.3 but when my nephrologist said 5.7 my mouth dropped open! I'm so happy today 😁💪

@AboutMyTribe, Carb counting and portion control are the 2 biggest ones, I'm very carb sensitive so there are foods I Must stay away from. But when you find foods that you like and have a few endulgences that are within your limits then you don't feel "cheated". I have been grinning ear to ear ALL day 😁😁😁

@keyten77 Yes, you are correct 😁 Dietitian's are lifesavers. I see her Thursday, she's going to be so stoked lol and yes she saved my life also. My nephrologist is very happy also 😁 I'm still 🎶
