Diario de SaintViper, 06 dic. 10

Tired and hungry all last week. Ate poorly on Saturday and it caught up with me on Sunday. Stuck at home with the kids, then dinner at HC's dads. Hopefully a spike day will help set things right.

DUDE!!! Your stupid ticker shows "gaining 30+ lbs a week!!". That's just bad juju all around!!! stupid ticker. I think you gained my loss. I wondered where that went and why. As far as I can tell my massive T-day gorge-fest just "primed" me as you like to say. Us women get to have an "off" week every month....no reason you guys can't too. LOL!!! You'll be fine, just a baby step back.

I have definitely had my share of bad days, weeks and even months. You'll get back on the train and be just fine. Look at how awesome you were feeling on Thursday to do another swim..

Lol, gaining 30lbs a week. FS should really use rolling weeks instead of calendar weeks for that calculation. Oh well, I suppose it makes up for all those loosing 18 lbs a week statuses.

I'm not sure what the deal is lately. Maybe I just need to eat a little more. I try to bank calories to make up for the bad days. Maybe I should just shoot for my RDI every day. I ate more calories on average in July and August and still did ok. Or maybe it was just a bad week and everything is fine.

I'd like to think that I "bank calories" too. But unfortunately I don't think it really works that way. Our bodies are so fabulous at storing extra energy (fat) but TERRIBLE at storing the opposite. Hey, if you look at my last few months you'll see that I'll pretty much stick at the same weight (give or take a lb or two up and down) for a month or so, and then all of a sudden drop a few lbs. Seems to just be the way it is. And it's often AFTER I have a spike in my calorie intake. Go figure.
