Okay folks, I caved today and took PTO. Too damn tired to fight it and not willing to fake working when I'm not. There are enough jerks out there gaming their companies when they are supposed to be working from home.
No movement on the scale, but then none for me either since my trip to the hospital on Sunday. Guess I will have a cup of tea and fingers crossed. I hate taking a Colace, so I will wait 1 more day to see if the tea does it's thing first.

I had been using Arnica cream on both knees and wrists starting on the day I tripped. You can see why I caved and went to the ER.
I haven't been able to use the tub in this house for the 12 years I've lived here. I will try the Epsom salt soaked towels. That never occurred to me. Thanks for the suggestion.
Thanks for everyone's input on Workman's Comp. Obviously I don't want my landlord to be held liable for something that should be covered by WC! Since HR didn't have me follow what would have been normal procedure in the office, there is no going back at this point. I'm okay with that, just angry that our HR person is being used more like a leasing consultant, than her actual role, since March.
The med seems to be working, because I was having to deal with itching up and down my calf for hours during the night. I tried lotion and light massage, before finally searching all the medicine cabinets for Cooling anti-itch spray. It did the trick, but that left me painfully aware of everything else I have been blocking while focused on just this one source. Deep breath, heavy sigh. Please let me get some sleep today.
