The weekends are always the hardest! I survived again. Whew! Had pizza for dinner last night, but then rode the exercise bike for an hour! Guilt is not always the enemy. It got me off my butt last night to exercise.
We didn't get any snow. School is in session. Kids were disappointed. :( We haven't had any this year so the kids are not happy about that. I am perfectly fine with it.
We had a long talk with the in-laws last night after my husband talked to his grandmother about staying with us. She kept talking about how her sister's son built on a living space for her at their home, and talked about how great it was for everyone. So, that was on the agenda last night, and surprisingly, my in-laws were in complete aggreeance. So, today we have a couple contractors coming by our house to give us quotes on building on a large room and handi-capped accessible bathroom. It would be large enough to be like a studio apartment for our grandmother. 20x25 i think. Which can be turned into a gameroom for our kids in the future. So, this will give her a sense of independence, and have her close enough for us to care for her without her actually being right in our living space and changing the way we live day to day. (loud kids, lots of playdates, weekend get togethers with our friends, ect.). I think this is going to be the best solution.
