I moved from finance/accounting to operations in 2009, and I was so glad to finally be free of month-ends, quarter-ends, and year-ends. My wife is still an audit manager, so I still feel some of her pain but not so much on a VM personal level. Best of luck...

I can relate, been in Finance my entire life.. Payroll Mgr for large technical company , international business. Its stressful, but I love my job!!
