1 lb down & 1 year older… does that balance out?!? But feeling good, staying my course gluten, lactose & sugar aware. Younger DS got off yesterday after his flight was canceled on Sunday & is back at school safe & sound -- I am missing him though! Older DS's old school, FL State, won the college football national championship last night though, so all is happy in my household this morning… even though its 9 degrees outside & feels like -14 with the wind chill!

I'm off to workout, coffee with a girlfriend this afternoon & dinner with my oldest tonight, so no complaints here! But before I start my (birth)day, I'll pray --

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

And for this one day, and each one meal, moment, bite, thought & emotion, I'll pray, breathe, log, post & express my way. I'm so grateful for each of amazing, supportive you and our fun, safe place here on FS, my family & IRL friends, and having the health & wealth to celebrate my birthday as I live this life I love! xoxox
