Scales arrived, but I was in too much pain to deal with it last night. No time to fight with the old scale this morning, so didn't weigh in today.
First full day back in the office and thankfully, they've decided to make it a short one for the holiday. No complaints with getting on the road sooner.
Trip home last night was pure torture. Had to pull over twice to deal with the pain by stretching and adjusting my seat for better contact with the gas pedal. My friends and family are all concerned because I drive a stick, but using the clutch isn't my problem. It's the unexpected muscle contractions, or shooting pains up & down my right leg. The off the chart low back spasms, and/or the hip and groin pain from trying to hold a position too long, like the brake pedal in stop and go traffic. The constant burning and pins and needles of neuropathy in my feet and toes doesn't stop, so a noncontender on this matter, but the edema in both calves, ankles, and feet making them feel like logs in sausage casings is. The unyielding stiffness in both knees is most likely arthritis rearing it's ugly head, and decidedly a contributor when trying to swing back and forth between the gas and brake pedals. Enough whining, I'm supposed to be working here!
