We associate life's important moments with food, but most events are about the people we are with. You want a long, happy, quality life with lot's of events and people. To do that, it's important to be healthy. You are off to a great start. Keep going! You are doing this for yourself. There will always be some event or temptation. You could have gained 5 pounds instead you gained a half a pound (which could be mostly water weight anyway). That's a great thing. Now get to it and keep going.
