Took PTO yesterday and stayed in bed most of the day. I didn't get picked up until 6:45 Tuesday night after getting to work at 8:30 am that morning. Not complaining just stating for the record. So after being up and down all night (well every night) in pain, and having a steady downpour of rain starting about 4 am, I wasn't going to deal with these people and possibly being stuck here again after 6 pm. So glad I did cuz I got a storm warning yesterday evening about heavy winds and hail in the area around my job. Meanwhile I was warm and cuddly with my kitties, far far away. Got up to feed them and take my meds. Got up later to feed them again and eat some leftovers from the fridge. Managed to catch part of Resident Alien, put a load in the dryer and a load in the washer. Had planned on showering, but by the time I finished eating, it was time for New Amsterdam and back to bed I went.
Cab showed up at 7:41 this morning, so at the office at 8:15 today. Love sitting here twiddling my thumbs until I can clock in, so fingers crossed that they show up closer to 6 tonight and I can go home! Hope you all have a warm and cuddly Thursday.
