Good Morning Everyone!
Well, my insurance won't cover Belviq for me because luckily I'm not Morbidly Obese. The medicine is supposed to be OK for BMI of 30 or more. Oh well!
It's super expensive with insurance coverage anyway. I'm trying Phentermine again. Started yesterday. Cut the 37.5 pill in half. It really REALLY kills my appetite. Had trouble sleeping though so I'm going to take it every other day then at least I'll get a good night's sleep half the time.
I am very aware now of how for years I've been overeating. I must watch the portions. Three or 4oz of Steak, Chix, or Fish... Not 10oz! Gotta behave myself this time. I don't like being obese.
I plan on stopping the pharmaceutical help in a month or two.
Gotta do this MYSELF,with of course some help from my FATSECRET Buddies.

You can do this, and probably without the help of pharmaceuticals. (not a big fan of the pill industry) Just the old fashioned way, diet, exercise and support. You just need to be patient. But we'll support you anyway you go through your journey!

I think pharmaceuticals used wisely can be very helpful, especially when used short term combined with lifestyle changes. How much does a person's BMI have to be for a dr. to prescribe phentermine? What type of doc prescribes for you?
