It's funny. When I eat the right foods, I feel like I've eaten a ton of food and just can't eat any more, but the calories aren't that high. When I eat junk, I feel like I can't eat enough but end up with huge calorie numbers. The calorie difference between a carrot and and egg roll is just staggering even though they are about the same size. No wonder everyone has gotten bigger.

Wow, I have had the same thought. My thought has been when I go for pop tarts. 440 calories 2 pastries and I can't get enough, but if I go for an apple with almond butter it satisfies me for quite awhile and has so many less calories.

I totally agree! It is much easier to stuff my face w/ junk food than eat something healthy with the same calorie value.

SaitViper - that's great, eating right is sure the way to go. Junk foods are loaded with sugars and simple carbs that spike our blood sugar and end up making us crave more.
