Well I was happy about the weight progress, but I cut way back on carbs and overall total daily calories, and my lifting suffered by Friday, I did not have much in me for explosive workouts. I did have plenty to do around the house that kept a low cardio going which I think helped.

I tried to keep protein levels between 1.0 and 1.2% of my target body weigh, and fats between 20 and 30% of my target calorie intake.

Sunday was awesome since I actually ate some food! I harvested rabbits on Saturday and had a liver feed on Sunday. Boy, was that a treat. I will be taking a break from turkey and chicken for now, and see how rabbit will compare to the macros and overall satisfaction.

This week I will stay closer to targets as they seem to work for weight loss as well as give me sufficient energy for my workouts.

With regards to workouts, I will split up the muscle groups differently than I had planned last week, but I am just not sure what that will look like. Today I will continue with chest AM, and back Pm, then go from there.

This week for the 22kill, I did a minimum of 22 pushups every day, and those were by pushing up at an incline. Several days I did extra from the knees. My best at standard pushups was 5 in a row, and I will keep working on that. For now my daily plan is to do 22 angled, 22 from the knees, and as many as I can do standard.

Hey, other Big guy. If your up for it you should join my challenge. It may be tough if you do pre workout food loading though. When I lift I do it fasted now so its no problem now that I am adjusted to it.

I actually notice the benefit of lifting fasted. I find that I don't hit the wall as long as I pace the workout and don't do HIT. HIT is counter productive when Low carbing or lifting fasted.

Thanks all for the comments. katieYount, I bought a small rabbitry a couple of months ag, and this was the first litter to be harvested. I have around 30 that are in varying stages of growth now, and should be a regular part of my diet from here on out. I love rabbit meat! When I raised my kids we lived on rabbit and stewing chickens, and I missed the rabbits. I do nothing fancy just stew the pieces in the crock pot with garlic. It makes the most wonderful stock. beats chicken or pork stock hands down. As far as fat, it is low but if you want more you can always add in flax seed oil. To all about the fasted lifting, I actually tried that this week. Thursday to be exact on shoulder day and I mploded halfway into the workout. My workouts in a fat loss stage is more like a HIIT workout rather than a steady pace. Maybe that is why I just fell off a cliff so soon. I typically do a morning walk for one hour right out of bed. Eat a moderate amount of protein and carbs, then lift about an hour and a half later. Mayb I would eat a banana on the way to the gym. After the workout I would have a scoop of whey and a banana. Then later I would fix a lunch early afternoon or so. In my 40'2 when I lifted regularly, I would not eat anything before lifting exept a banana, and I liked that feeling of being empty but having the power to deliver. Just not feeling it like I used to so I have been eating more before workouts but leaving some time before I lift as I hate that feeling if you eat and do not feel hungry. I truly am open to new ideas, as I hate the thought of losing muscle since it is so damn hard to get it back. Been thinking maybe Testosterone supplementation might be of benefit here.

BG, Try this. When you get up, save all your energy. Have a cup of coffee, hit the Gym then lift slow and steady. No HIIT. Pace it out. The trick with Low carb fasted lifting is to let your body break down fat as you burn it. If you go too hard you switch into Glucose burning and Hit the wall too fast. Don't eat before lifting. When you do that, your body is shunting energy to digestion and away from your muscles. you may actually feel BETTER during training. Its worth it for the experimentation. And you may find you prefer it.
