Since you're on the low end of the spectrum for your goal weight, it's very common to lose just small amounts each week. However small it might be,a loss is still a loss. The number you lost is a great number. If you haven't already,I highly suggest taking your measurements...I take mine once a month. You might see results there, especially if you're exercising and gaining muscle. Also, take a look at what your calories in/out...it's possible your body may need more food to lose weight, which is hard for us to understand but if you're burning up those calories and your body feels deprived, it will hold onto that weight. The last thing I might suggest is to change your routine and try something new. Sometimes our bodies get used to a certain food or exercise and switching things up can kick it back in gear. Just stay in there!

Don't give up. You're doing well - OctoberBride is right - I have often had to eat a little more for a couple of days (making sure I don't go over the top) to get my weight loss kick-started again, cos bodies go into starvation mode, where they think "Oh hang on a min, these are obviously lean times, I mustn't lose too much fat cos food is obviously not easy to come by atm!' After all - I treated myself a little on two days last week when I was at my mum's and was convinced that I wouldn't have lost any weight when weighing myself this morning, but I'd lost 2.5lbs! But the trick is to only do that for a day or two and then go straight back to it again - cos it'll fool you body into thinking that the 'lean' times are over and it doesn't have to conserve the fat anymore. And if you do this - don't weigh yourself til the end of the week or you may worry more than you need to! Give it a go.

If you cut your calories, your will see bigger losses. But if you can eat 1600 a day and lose than that's wonderful. It may take you a little longer to get the weight off, but when you go to maintain, it will be much easier because you more you eat while losing, the more you can eat to maintain. You should also be losing fat, so measurements are good. You may also see a bigger loss next week, because we don't always see this weeks results till next week or later. Consistency is key. You might also try zig zagging calories (high and low days). Just don't weigh after high day (1300,1500,1600, 1400, etc).
