ate lots of treats at Christmas and my weight gain shows it, three lbs. However, I managed blood sugar pretty well, 96 yesterday and 115 day before that. Ate last of my special, low sugar, bread pudding for breakfast- picking most of the bread out of it--for breakfast. Back to reality now. Can't fool nature. If you eat too much, you gain, if you eat less than you burn, you lose. Basic fact. Exercise helps and avoiding foods that make us bloat or that set up cravings helps. Never letting yourself forget to be self honest and face facts--that works.

However I am grateful I could still wear my coat-- bought two years ago and just recently wearable as I lost weight. Waist this morning was 40 inches. Keep on keeping on. Hurray for 2018.

Amen! exactly what I did over the holidays. I gained 5.5 pounds and I'm going back to no bread and 1300 calories a day. hugs to you and we are awesome!
