Diario de lotus2009, 11 jul. 10

Had lunch @ 3pm.Soup made of cabbage,tomato puree,onions and celery with one table spoon of mayo.Around 2cups.Had one attack of carb craving after lunch,wanted to eat the mango that was on the dining table.Its 6pm now and I started feeling hungry,not much(3/10).I see a pattern of huger after 3hours after food.I guess blood glucose level dropped again.I will have to find out a snack,an easy one to have in between meals.May be a simple hard boiled egg...I am applying princles of Beck diet solution to find out my hunger pattern,

the soup is a good idea for lunch but you might want to put some protien in it that will help ya stay full longer i make a simular soup but add chicken to it its great cause you can just heat and eat! i also put cualiflower and broccolli in it more fiber and will make ya feel full longer if you want my reciept drop me a note and i will send it!

Thanks a lot for your comment.Yes,I guess I should put some chicken in the soup.And cauliflower is out of season now.I would love to have your soup recipe.

So I ended up wit 828 cal and 20gm net carbs.Atleast I didnt give in to craving and completed first day of my re-starting without breaks.And I identified that I need food and have true hanger after every 4 hours and need to eat.I had cravings once in whole day but managed to stay strong.Today is good.Tomorrow will be better and better,better than before.

when things are out of season i use frozen still good for cooking! the frozen broc. cualiflower mix is a must have ! you can do a lot with them stirfry.soup, or just steamed and cheese or butter on it!
