It’s lovely and it used to be an old colliery !!!! Looks totally different from when I was a child!! It’s about 10 minutes walk from where I live and great for cycling and walking. It’s nice here, Derbyshire is very pretty !  

Sair I note from your profile that you are a Civil Servant , I used to be a Civil Servant I bet it is good to get away from the desk and walk and enjoy the views, I have the sea. 

Hi Chestnut .... yes I’m a civil servant, last month was 30 years since I joined !! Not bad to say I only started as a casual and it was just a gap filler 🤣😂 how did you manage to escape ?? I love being outdoors and usually cycle but I’m recovering from Covid so sticking to walking until I’m right, I’m getting there but it’s been a long job!! Envy you having the sea!! 😊😊 

Sari when they went on a cost cutting exercise and offered people a leaving package i took it knowing that would keep me going until I could take my private and when I get to 60 I can take my Civil Service pension so it wasn't all bad! Thirty years service you must be getting a pension racking up? I hope you recover fully from covid and get to enjoy more of the outdoors when it is all over. 

Chestnut thank you, it’s been a longer job than I thought !!!! My office has been under threat of closure so I’ve been sitting tight hoping for an exit package but we keep getting a stay of execution !!! Because the unemployment level has been impacted so heavily by Covid it’s unlikely they’ll let us escape now! When I’m better I’ll be working from home which will be a first!!! Will be needing those walks even more then !!!
