Gonna do a little work venting. Production managed to mess up both things I told them on Friday. And one of those things was the SECOND time I told them to take care of something. Got to be kidding me production. Biting my tongue, but my equipment is broken (also probably production's fault) and it's kind of putting me in a sour mood. Also, I am le tired. But, this will all be fine. I'm going to spend the next however long making pancakes (not to eat but to test for color bleeding from fruit to batter). And it's somebody's birthday so I guess it's a cake day which I do not need after all the sweets I ate this weekend.
On the plus side, I took my grandma's exercise/yoga ball and now I have 2 and can use one here, at work, for my desk chair. Yeah NEAT.
Weekend was great though! Caught up with one of my good friends and his family. Convinced him to come to Comic Con. OK, that was easy! He's got an old Ash costume from Army of Darkness that he's going to wear. Also caught up with that ex who had contacted me. He's obviously still looking for a little something but we didn't do anything. It was kind of nice to see him though. Oh and on Friday night I went out with one of my college buddies, some of her friends, and her brother. Feel kind of bad about it but I hung out with her brother all night. *shrug* I just have more in common with boys over girls for the most part. Yes I would like to drink beer, listen to rock, and talk about movies. With the BF out of the apartment I have a serious lack of male bonding going on. And not just in bed!
Saw the family a lot this weekend too. Bonded with my Dad by cleaning my car. He had the idea that he wanted to clean my wheels. Guess what? Under all that crap they're actually chrome! Look great now. HAHA. But it's all vacuumed and half is waxed. Feels good to get something accomplished.
Alright, I gotta get back to work. Time to turn the day around!
