I just noticed that I'm coming up on my year anniversary from beginning this weight loss journey. August 30th is the date so it is my goal to have lost at least 50 lbs. by then. I'm only 3.4 lbs away but, as we all know, that can sometimes seem like 34 lbs!! Last week was a big loss for me. I attribute that to lowering my carbs significantly, staying between 25-30 carbs. These new couple of weeks will be especially difficult because I will be going to a 3 day conference (which always has delicious food), then a 3 day weekend at the lake with friends. I have to keep my goal in sight!!
