Diario de lotus2009, 27 dic. 09

The positive things I did today-
1.Followed Atkins and didnt give in to carbs craving.
2.Organized things at work well and operations went smoothly.Hopefully our patients will get better.
3.Did meditation but only once.
The negative things I did today-
1.Under ate carbs.It was only 10 net carbs.But I was too tired to cook anything when I got back home from hospital at almost 5 pm after standing on feet all day.So I just made an omlet with some veggies.But somehow count came low in the evening when I made the food log after dinner.And another reason is not taking any sweetner.
2.Was angry and pathetic and crying over something that I cant change or control.I will try to show more patience and tolerance over it.I have to endure what I cant cure...What else.
3.Consequence of No2...Didnt study as I planned.
4.Consequence of No2...Didnt go to see the patients in private office,called the office and told them I was sick.It was a partial lie cause my pressure was 150/100.But its not that high and quite tolerable and I should go and treat my patients instead of staying home...
The day was going okay till afternoon.We were operating and my professor was happy with my performance and was appreciating me.Then I came home,ate and was thinking about all those personal things and became sad and was crying...It raised my blood presure and didnt let me study or work...Then I talked to the special one,though he cant help right now but his words bring warmth to the heart.So I will try to study now and hope for a better tomorrow.
Plan for tomorrow-
1.Following diet exactly with 20 carbs.
2.STUDY STUDY STUDY.Since tomorrow is a day off I will start studying right from early morning and later in the day I will make a time table that I can follow for studying in between my work.I have to pass MRCS in february,2010.
3.Hair care if I manage time.
4.Meditate.
5.Staying calm,positive,tolerant and relaxed.
I hope and believe things will get better,better and better.Better than before.

You're doing better than a lot of people. Sometimes I don't get to 20 carbs when on induction. Maybe have some extra vegetables around to eat with low carb salad dressing. The meditation is a great thing to be doing, I have been doing that and calm praying lately it has helped me realize there is less importance to material things as I have so little for an American male aged 47. (A big reason unfortunately why I believe that I have no girlfriend). I just have a small apartment, but have come to accept things lately that I can't change and I'm where I'm supposed to be - I want a nicer place like a house or could afford to go to Spain like my niece who is going again and already owns a house, etc... but just remember if you get upset about things to meditate or pray and let it go and at least you're taking control of your weight issue and that is something to be proud of! i agree with glenn i had and i still have problems eating more than 15 g of carbs sometimes i eat less but it is not an everyday thing,, i noticed that when i wake up early i manage to eat 18 g and above 1300 calories which really helped me lose weight faster than before.. about your personal problems everyone has problems like that so don't feel like you are alone in this, i have so many problems and such pressure around me from studying and working, also friends play a role in this too.. but what gets me through the day is the fact that i'm achieving so much in my diet i'm losing weight every week, which is why I LOVE ATKINS, no matter what you do or don't! you still lose weight even if just 0.2 you do until the end ,, i took glenn's advice before to increase my calorie intake and the result was amazing i exercised once in that week and i still manageed to lose 1.1 kg :D ... so if you need any help thats what the community of fat secret is here for :)
