Daily weigh-ins going very well. I should have a great weight loss this week. I found usually the second week is a little plateau sometimes, not always. Anyway, I plan to join a writer's group at my local library - hopefully some published authors will be there and can help guide me into getting published. (I have two books done in final draft form after many times of editing over again). A western needs to be done over it is in its third or fourth draft, but is historically inaccurate I've found and I'm a bit burned out on that book and oddly enough some people who became celebrites this year who I don't like - one anyway, is a major name in the book, another is a movie star and his name is in there too and I started this book YEARS ago when these people were like kids. What a pain it will be to change the name of the last name of the main family in the book, but I have to change it or they'll think I like this obnoxious celebrity. (I won't tell you who it is). Anyway, there are also at least TWO book clubs I can join at the library too, I'm sure I'll meet lots of cool people eventually. I'm not into mysteries like my mother, there is a club for them, the other two I'll join, I think one is fiction and the other medieval-themed books in particular. The New Year is looking like it should be one where my social life should pick up and hopefully I will meet a long-term girlfriend... Glenn P.S. Now I'm busy with a fantasy book for now, and when done with that will finish that short story book or may do the short stories with the writing group...
