Has your thyroid been checked recently? I have no energy myself, but i have diagnosed hypothyroidism and am not converting the Synthroid. They're going to try me on Nature-Throid to see if it helps me more.

I wish for you some peaceful rest, some laughter and love. Sounds to me you are very courageous. It's hard not to get frustrated, even depressed, when you cannot do the things you want to do. Take it one moment at a time. I don't know your diagnosis, but I know what it's like to be sick, my body not cooperating with my mind. I look to the little things that make me smile, it helps. Stay positive if you can. Thank you for your honesty. I wish you all the best.

You can also get a CBC to check if because of your new lifestyle you may be anemia deficient, b-12 maybe would help? Wish you luck

Good Luck to you. Part of the exhaustion is just fighting the cancer. Be patient with yourself and keep a positive attitude. It helps to look back on how far you have come in the healing journey.

Glad to know you think of us as warriors - I didn't realize how hard eating right and losing weight is! Hey, 4 walk/runs + walk is pretty good for two weeks. I bike ride and haven't done anything for months - but I have to get myself to recalibrate and look for what I am doing right. It helps. If I just look at where I fall short , then I feel worse.

You're doing better than my friend with Stage 4 CRC, which recurred *during* chemo. So, you rest up, baby yourself, and hang in there. I need you to be okay, Buddy, okay? Take the best care of yourself!

Thanks everyone, I made it to the gym today. Doing the Couch25K program again on week 2 and got a good 30 minute run /walk in on the treadmill at my old pace (which wasn't really fast to begin with LOL) but it felt good to finish it. Tomorrow the plan is to go again and try some light resistance work if I'm able. As for blood work, if they took anymore from me I would be anemic LOL.

Hello! I saw you're having trouble sleeping. I use to until I started taking magnesium. I take 700 mg. per night. helps me a lot! check with your doctor but most don't prescribe it. I get it from the Walmart vitamin section. It's the world's most relaxing mineral. commonly overlooked but much needed in our bodies. :) hope it helps!

Thank you PW313, I am already taking 1000 mg of magnesium daily. My oncologist had me start taking even before chemo started. Unfortunately insomnia is just another great side effect of chemotherapy.

Been thinking about you a lot Bill. Hang in there and stay hydrated; it's a long marathon up Pike's Peak. But we all know you will reach the finish line and score a good time!

I'm doing my best and keeping a positive attitude most of the time, even I have down times but I don't let them keep me down. I know I'm going to beat this but don't always have the patience to wait lol.
