My body must have been begging to drop pounds. All I've done is changed my diet to high protein, high fiber eating within my recommended daily allowance of calories for a woman over 50 as well as started moderate exercise designed to burn fat rather than muscle. My goal to protect and regain muscle while reducing fat seems to be what the body wanted.

My inspirations are the women who came before me. Mom, Granny, Great Grandma, and Great Great Grandma all of whom were strong women. I knew and loved them all. I honor the strength and example they gave me.
