I've been feeling pretty good about the way I look lately so I decided to pull my scale out of hibernation. Weight is holding steady, although I'm going to try again tomorrow because I ate salty food (sausage!) at dinner last night and because today is my light work out day. After tomorrow that scale is going back into hiding for awhile!
Playing with buying tickets to go to Seattle for a weekend. I have a friend out there that I promised I would visit and it's been over a year now. NEED TO GO SOMETIME. But I'm having a hard time justifying the cost. Just need to suck it up and go I guess. It's just that I want to spend all sorts of money right now. Since I haven't been feeling 100% emotionally with the BF out of the apartment it seems that I'm turning to stuff and events to make me happy. But good lord that stuff adds up! I'm trying to take it easy but I just keep finding things to buy. LOL! Such is life.

I say go...go see your friend. We have a family friend, only 32y.o. and she is losing her battle with cancer. Its no longer a question of if she'll survive, now its just how long she has. Life is too short to put things off like that.

The end of August - leave real early the 27th. It'll only be for a weekend but I don't have much vacation time to take. I figure... if people go to Vegas or Florida for a weekend why not go to Seattle? LOL
