No walk again today due to inclement weather. Did my work out video again. Is it just me, or are the trainers who do work out videos more than a little annoying? I also have some errands that I need to do this evening, so that will help with getting my step count a little higher.
Our little city on the flatland is faring well, considering the situation to the south of us. Numerous communities have been flooded and are under evacuation orders. We were put on potential evacuation notice last night, but we will be ok. Hundreds of thousands of people just a short drive down the highway from us are displaced. If you are a praying person, please pray for relief from the flood waters and for safety for the emergency responders.

Managed to go for my walk today, although all the way through I was certain I was going to have to head for home.
Wind, rain, and ominous clouds were the order of the day today. Oddly enough, the wind was blowing from east to west, which is just not normal for us. I heard on the news when I got home that there have been numerous mudslides in the mountains to the west and at least one town is under evacuation order due to flooding. Yikes!
Anyway, weigh in today was good. Down almost two pounds. Yay!

My walk was rained out today... I'm getting very tired of the rainy weather. I did a 30 minute work out video instead, but only got about a third of the steps as I would get if I did my full walk. Maybe I'll do the video again later today. Also did my squats for the day... up to 160. I think when the squat challenge is over at the end of the month I will continue to do 50-100 squats a day, just to keep those muscles strong.
Weight is holding steady, which is a nice change. Normally the weekend always throws me off and I spend the majority of the week battling to get back to where I was the Friday or Saturday before. I did make a couple of not-so-great choices last weekend, but I made sure to up my activity and to make smart choices when I could.
Blood sugars are doing really well. Not a whole lot of fluctuation up or down which is great.
Made a great dinner last night. Roast beef Florentine paninis (roast beef, brie, roasted red pepper, spinach, and a garlic/sour cream/horseradish sauce on multigrain Panini rolls. Had a cucumber salad to go with it. I'm definitely going to be making it again. I think it would also be great with chicken or turkey.
